LIFE: Making Sense of It All

A 240-Day Biblical Curriculum for Whole-Person Transformation

Anyone truly living beyond the shallows is bound to ask questions that deeply probe into the origins of life, the meaning of life, and the purpose of life. In order to make sense of it all, we each need to courageously investigate and evaluate where we have been, where we are, and where we are going. This curriculum meets participants 4 days a week, 10am to 2pm, over 240 days — equipping every person to walk in healthy self-love, healthy relationships, and healthy choices governed by God's Word.

Creator & Creation

Who Is God, and Who Am I?

Before we can make sense of our own lives we must first understand the nature and character of the God who created us. This unit grounds participants in a robust theology of God and humanity — answering the question, 'Who am I, and why am I here?'

Day 1God Is Omnipotent — All-Powerful
Day 2God Is Omniscient — All-Knowing
Day 3God Is Omnipresent — Ever Present
Day 4God Is Transcendent — Beyond All
Day 5Human Beings — The Tripartite Frame (Spirit)
Day 6Human Beings — The Tripartite Frame (Soul)
Day 7Human Beings — The Tripartite Frame (Body)
Day 8God's Government — Natural, Spiritual & Moral Laws
2

Sin's Dominion & The Finished Work

The Problem, the Power, and the Provision

This unit examines the full weight of sin's dominion over humanity through Adam and the complete sufficiency of Christ's finished work as the Last Adam. Understanding both is essential for walking in genuine freedom.

Day 17One Man = Adam — Sin's Entry (Romans 5:12)
Day 18Free Will — Mankind's Dilemma (Volition)
Day 19The Law of Sin & Death — Futility, Fragmentation, Fear, Frustration
Day 20Slavery to Sin — The Body Subject to the Curse
Day 21Last Man = Jesus Christ — The Finished Work's Power (Romans 5:15)
3

Identity, Image, Individuality & Integrity

The Four Pillars of the Authentic Self

WS-3's Identity and Empowerment Model (developed March 2012) addresses four foundational dimensions of personhood. This unit helps participants build a biblically grounded sense of self that can withstand the pressures of culture, trauma, and sin.

Day 33IMAGE — What You See and Believe
Day 34IDENTITY — What You Feel About What You Know
Day 35INDIVIDUALITY — Who You Have Become
Day 36INTEGRITY — Who You Consistently Are
4

God's Government vs. Human Government

The Ultimate Questions — Identity, Meaning, Purpose, Eternity

Four ultimate questions define human existence: Who am I? (Identity) What is my life for? (Meaning) Why am I here? (Purpose) What happens when I die? (Eternity). This unit examines how God's government answers these questions definitively — and how human government fails to satisfy them.

Day 53The Question of Identity — 'Who Am I?'
Day 54The Question of Meaning — 'What Is My Life For?'
Day 55The Question of Purpose — 'Why Am I Here?'
Day 56The Question of Eternity — 'What Happens When I Die?'
5

Spiritual Laws That Govern

Invisible Principles with Visible Consequences

God's universe operates by consistent spiritual laws that are as real and reliable as physical laws. Understanding and aligning with these laws produces life; violating them produces death — regardless of cultural belief or personal opinion.

Day 69The Law of Self-Governance
Day 70The Right of Conscience
Day 71The Law of Freedom
Day 72The Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ
Day 73The Law of Sin and Death
6

Traumas — Surviving or Thriving

Addressing the Root, Not Just the Fruit

Trauma is the invisible wound that governs visible behavior. This unit addresses Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), the three categories of trauma (A's, B's, and C's), and the biblical pathway from surviving to thriving — grounded in compassion, not condemnation.

Day 85Adverse Childhood Experiences — What They Are
Day 86Trauma A's — The Absence of What You Needed
Day 87Trauma B's — The Bad Things That Happened to You
Day 88Trauma C's — The Decisions We Make (Good and Bad)
Day 89Operating from a Deficit — Owning Your Brokenness
7

What Shapes Our Lives

People. Places. Things.

Three categories of influence shape every human being: People (relationships), Places (environments), and Things (media, culture, ideology). Understanding these shaping forces — and choosing them intentionally — is central to walking in biblical transformation.

Day 105People — Parents and Guardians
Day 106People — Extended Family, Friends, and Community Leaders
Day 107Places — Home, School, Community, Society
Day 108Things — Media, Satanic Deception, Peer Pressure, Cultural Conformity
8

Foundations — Family, Faith & Finances

Building What Lasts

Three domains form the foundation of a stable, flourishing life: Family (beliefs, behaviors, values), Faith (talent, time, treasure), and Finances (giving, investing, spending). When these foundations are aligned with God's Word, every other dimension of life benefits.

Day 125Family Foundation — Beliefs
Day 126Family Foundation — Behaviors
Day 127Family Foundation — Values
Day 128Faith Foundation — Talent (Stewardship of Gifts)
Day 129Faith Foundation — Time (Stewardship of Hours)
Day 130Faith Foundation — Treasure (Stewardship of Finances)
Day 131Finances Foundation — Giving, Investing & Spending
9

Theory of Change & Developing Kingdom Culture

WS-3's Framework for Transformative Community

True change requires more than willpower — it requires a comprehensive framework. WS-3's Theory of Change addresses five dimensions: Culture, Historical Analysis, Epistemology, Philosophy for Change, and Redemption. Together they form a roadmap for both personal and community transformation.

Day 149Culture — Roots and Fruit (Knowing Your Context)
Day 150Historical Analysis — Landmarks and Signposts
Day 151Epistemology — How We Know What We Know
Day 152Philosophy for Change — Management and Maintenance
Day 153Redemption — Reckoning and Renaissance
10

Personal Government

Governing the Self Before Leading Others

Personal government is the internal leadership dimension — governing one's own self-control, sensitivity, actions, convictions, awareness, and words. A person who cannot lead themselves cannot be trusted to lead others. This unit builds the internal architecture of mature discipleship.

Day 169Personal Self-Control
Day 170Personal Sensitivity
Day 171Personal Actions — Doing What You Say
Day 172Personal Convictions — What You Will and Won't Do
Day 173Personal Awareness — Knowing Yourself
Day 174Personal Words — The Power of the Tongue
11

Renewing the Mind & The A.B.I.D.E. Principle

Soul Food Extravaganza — The Master Key to Overcoming

Transformation is not behavior modification — it is mind renewal. This unit explores the biblical science of renewing the mind (Romans 12:2) and introduces WS-3's ABIDE framework: Always Be In Direct Engagement with Almighty God. This is the master key to sustained, lasting change.

Day 193Renewing the Mind — The Biblical Science of Transformation
Day 194A — Always (Sustained Engagement, Not Occasional Encounters)
Day 195B — Be (Present, Not Performing)
Day 196I — In (Positioned Inside the Vine, Not Beside It)
Day 197D — Direct (Unmediated Access, No Performance Required)
Day 198E — Engagement with Almighty God (Active, Not Passive)
12

Coming Out & Healthy Self-Love

God Wants You to Come Out So He Can Break In

The final unit brings all curriculum threads together in a culminating call to radical honesty with God, authentic community, and the fully integrated life of healthy self-love, healthy relationships, and healthy choices — the three personal goals of this curriculum.

Day 217Performance Won't Do It — Hebrews 4:9-10
Day 218Coming Out — God Will Break In with Healing
Day 219Healthy Self-Love — REST = Abundant and Eternal Life
Day 220Healthy Relationships — No Longer Controlled by Feelings
Day 221Healthy Choices — No Longer Dominated by Feelings, Fears, or Hidden Struggles
Day 240Graduation Day — The Integrated Life (Capstone Session)
